Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the effect of ease of transaction, digital literacy, and financial literacy on the use of e-banking. This type of research was quantitative research. The population in this study were 298 students. By using purposive sampling technique a sample of 40 Accounting Education students at State University of Surabaya was obtained. Data collection techniques used questionnaires and multiple choice tests. The data analysis technique used was multiple linear regression analysis with the help of SPSS software version 24. The result showed that both simultaneouly and partially ease of transaction, digital literacy, and financial literacy had a significant effect on the use of e-banking.

Abstract

This study aimed to test the service quality of the independent variable, namely public services on the dependent variable, namely population administration services. The population in this study were all people who provided services in the sub-districts of Salatiga. The sampling technique in this study used incidental sampling. The number of samples in this study was obtained through calculations with the iteration formula and the number of samples who became respondents was 115 people. Data collection methods used questionnaires, observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used quantitative descriptive analysis with the index number formula. The results showed that the Total Index Average was 81.37%. The size of the average index number for each dimension, namely the tangible dimension (physical evidence) of 68.97%, reliability of 69.04%, responsiveness of 77.8%, assurance (guarantee) of 74, 25%, and empathy of 72.93%. The results of this study indicated that people who were visitors to the districts in the city of Salatiga had a moderate view of service quality. This was because the quality of sub-district services in Salatiga had not been maximized. Services in the sub-districts of Salatiga were in the medium category.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze and illustrate how high the student’s competency is from the aspects of attitude competence, knowledge competence and skill competence in the implementation of curriculum 2013. The population of this study were 63 students of class XII under the major of Office Automation and Management at SMK Teuku Umar Semarang. The sampling technique used census sample. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interview, questionnaire, and documentation. This study used descriptive analysis with index number. The results of this study showed that the overall student competence had 78.97% of an average total index. Meanwhile, the partial index indicated that the competence of attitude got 80.63%. Knowledge competence got 76.85%. Skill Competence got 79.42%. The conclusion of this research can be drawn that the student’s competence on attitude aspect, knowledge, and skill competency as a whole had reached high criteria average. Suggestions on this study are 1) the teachers are encouraged to give appreciation to students who are active in class, 2) the teacher should promote the values of character values in the students during learning activities, 3) teachers and students should help each other develop the student’s skills

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the effect of professional competence, work motivation, and work discipline on teacher performance of State Senior High School in Pemalang Regency, either partially or simultaneously. This research was included in ex-post facto research and was quantitative in nature. The population were civil servant teachers which consisted of 10 State Senior High Schools in Pemalang Regency. Proportional simple random sampling was the sampling technique used in this study. Total of samples in this study were 200 samples. The technique of collecting data used a questionnaire. The results showed that the percentage of influence of professional competence, work motivation and work discipline on teacher performance of State Senior High School in Pemalang Regency was 57.7%, the rest were affected by other variables outside the research. The first hypothesis (H1), the second hypothesis (H2), and the third hypothesis (H3) which is that professional competence, work motivation, work discipline have a positive effect on teacher performance of state senior high school throughout Pemalang Regency were partially accepted.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the strategies used by MSMEs of Batik Murni in developing their business. The informants in this study were 18 people. The method used was a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, documentation, and triangulation. Data analysis techniques used data reduction, data presentation and data verification. The results showed that: (1) The use of cost leadership strategies, differentiation strategies and focus strategies had an important effect on the development of MSMEs of Batik Murni. (2) The factors that affected the development strategy of MSMEs of Batik Murni consisted of capital, labor and marketing. (3) The raw materials used by MSMEs of Murni Batik in the production process were cloth and silk cloth, canting, for textile dyes by using remasol, naptol and indigosol and natural dyes, for washing by using waterglass. (4) The capital of MSMEs of Batik Murni was obtained from personal capital, capital loans to the East Java Regional Bank and to PT Industri Kereta Api (INKA). (5) The sales system used by MSMEs of Batik Murni was a direct and indirect sales system. (6) MSMEs of Batik Murni used a marketing research strategy, sales research, marketing information systems, marketing plans and evaluation. (7) The impact of the development strategy for MSMEs of Batik Murni Madiun, namely an increase in the amount of production, an increase in the amount of marketing and finally an increase in income.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of Islamic financial literacy and religiosity on interest in becoming a customer in Islamic banks with promotion as a moderating variable. This research is a quantitative research. The sample used in this study was 100 students of State Universities in Surabaya with a purposive random sampling technique. The questionnaire was used as a data collection technique. While the data analysis technique used descriptive statistics and multiple linear regression. For moderating variables using the MRA test. The results of this study indicate that there is a partial or simultaneous influence between the variable X on the Y variable, while the promotion variable in this study does not moderate the independent and dependent variables. Based on this research, students are expected to be able to apply the knowledge they have acquired by learning about Islamic financial literacy including deepening religious knowledge to be applied in everyday life.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the Analysis of Accounting Information Systems and Operational Budget as a Tool for Internal Control of Credit Distribution at PT Bank Perkreditan Rakyat (BPR) Buana Citra Sejahtera Magetan. The research was conducted on: 1 director, 1 IT officer, and 1 operational member of PT Bank Perkreditan Rakyat (BPR) Buana Citra Sejahtera Magetan. The research was conducted at PT Bank Perkreditan Rakyat (BPR) Buana Citra Sejahtera Magetan. The research method used was a qualitative method with descriptive study research type. Collecting data used observation, interviews, documentation, and triangulation. The results showed that the internal control of credit distribution was related to the accounting information system run by PT. Buana Citra Sejahtera People's Credit Bank (BPR). Internal control of credit distribution was related to the operational budget carried out by PT. Buana Citra Sejahtera People's Credit Bank (BPR).

Abstract

This study aimed to measure students' creativity and critical economic thinking skills. The method was Quasi Experimental Design withNonequivalent control group design. The sampling process used purposive sampling technique and obtained 2 classes, namely class X IPS 3 as an experimental class using cooperative learning model of Think-Pair-Share and class X IPS 4 as a control class using Expository learning model. The variables in this study were creativity, critical thinking skills, and Think-Pair-Share cooperative learning. The results of the analysis of the effectiveness of the experimental class learning with the Think-Pair -Share learning model showed that the average final test result for the control class was 65.14 and the experimental class was 82.39 and obtained an N-Gain score of 0.58 in the moderate category, the Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000 <0.05 through the Paired sample t-test, it can be concluded that there was a difference in the average critical thinking ability of students in the economy. The results of the analysis of the student creativity sheet showed that the percentage of students' creativity in the experimental class was 86.00% with the very creative category and the control class was 55.80% with the quite creative category. This showed an increase in creativity and the ability to think critically in economic subjects, management materials using Think-Pair-Share learning model was more effective than using expository learning in class X IPS at SMA Negeri 1 Rembang, Purbalingga Regency.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was that novice investors could take the results of this study into consideration for using XBRL-based financial reports which were more flexible than ordinary financial reports. In this study, the behaviour of novice investors in using XBRL financial statements was tested by using the variable performance expectations and facility conditions from the Unified Theory of Acceptance and use of technology (UTAUT) model. The two variables were selected from UTAUT because it was stated that UTAUT was a technology acceptance testing model that was perfect than other technology acceptance models. The population in this study was millenials aged 19 to 28 years old, while the sample was 121. This study used a quantitative method whose data used purposive sampling and for collecting data using questionnaires. For statistical tools, we used WARP PLS for second-order testing and SPSS for the multiple regression. The research showed us that there was a tendency that performance expectations and facility conditions affected the intention of novice investors to use XBRL in processing required financial statement information.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the direct effect of fear of failure, organizational activeness, and teaching methods of lecturers with self-control as a moderating variable to academic procrastination. The population in this study was 330 students from class of 2017of the Faculty of Economics, Universitas Negeri Semarang. The sampling technique in this study used Stratified Random Sampling and sample size determination used the Slovin Formula with the results of the calculation of 181 students. Data collection techniques used a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques used descriptive statistical analysis and moderation regression analysis models. The results showed that fear of failure and organizational activity had a positive effect on academic procrastination. The teaching method of the lecturer did not affect academic procrastination. Self-control could moderate the effect of fear of failure on academic procrastination. Self-control could not moderate the effect of organizational activity and teaching methods of lecturers on academic procrastination. Suggestions from this research are students need to develop soft skills and increase confidence in their ability to reduce fear of failure in the future. Students can divide the time between the organization and lecture assignments so that students do not neglect each lecture assignment, so academic procrastination can decrease. For further research, self-control variables can be used as a mediating variable.
